The impact of affiliate marketing on link building

Our panel of experts also agreed that your affiliate marketing program can have a substantial impact on the success of your link building efforts.

Judith agreed that while brands should stimulate affiliates for short-term visibility on social media, this should only be done in limited circumstances.

Rishi was convinced that affiliates are an extremely beneficial part of the whole affiliate marketing process, as brands can sometimes be restricted by keywords, while affiliates are not hampered by the greater freedom they can take advantage to help the business grow and develop.

Martin also agreed that they can be useful but added that it is important to be clear and concise when it comes to managing prices and what type of employment relationship is acceptable beforehand.

Amplify – what key areas should you focus on?

So, now that you’ve familiarized yourself with everything you could ever want or need to know, what key areas should you focus on going forward?
